Orange Light Blinking in Dell Laptop

I have been using a Dell Laptop since last 10-11 months and there has not been any problem in the performance. I would say the overall performance of the Dell Laptop is very good and also the battery life is one of the best of all the laptop brands. But recently the battery life indicator light is blinking orange color instead of blue color. Normally this light blinks with blue color and it changes to orange color only when the battery is low. But now the orange light is blinking all the time. I am really confused about the problem but still I couldn’t find any problem in the battery.
The orange color blinking in the battery indicator light may be the warning that the battery of the laptop is going to be dead. Some people said that the fan of the laptop may not be working and therefore orange light is blinking. When I bought the laptop, I got a warranty of one year and now 10-11 months has over. I am wondering if I should call customer care or go to the service center of Dell. But I have a very tight schedule and therefore do not get time to go to the service center of Dell. Please help me out with the situation but I will say Dell laptop is good but I wan unfortunate.
